Such as?

Shorter and larger cannons for artillery, energy weapons for MBT, a turret with a flag, gatlin turret, energy weapon, single missile (that could be optional), a dozer blade for IFV ?

I would be wonderful to have some kind of extra weapons to customize the minis or use the bitz on other minis ;)

There's not much growth space in the sprue as is (the box around the edge is the maximum size that I can use)... perhaps the extras you're looking at could be made available as metal add-ons, if the initial sprue gets funded?

A kickstarter would be cool for this.

Indeed, I'll be starting one for just the tanks quite soon.

Might have a stretch goal of getting a sprue of infantry too.

Hey E&C,

how seriously do you want to take this kickstarter promotion?
(Like just enough for the tanks and I'm happy or let's see how far this can go!)

Seriously enough, I guess.
Those who know me here know that I run a reliable miniatures company (Troublemaker Games), and have experience with plastics sculpting & production.

Noone's yet tried to kickstart a 6mm scale project, so I don't know if this project will get funded at all, yet.

In my wildest dreams, I'd love to be able to provide all sorts of models in plastic, tanks, aircraft, infantry, etc. Enough for a whole game system.

Infantry are the most expensive to tool in plastic unfortunately, as they require very precise drilling, which is why I've deleted them from this sprue - I've started with the sprue that will be cheapest to drill, and offer the most bang-for-buck for customers.

Got any idea what the first goalpost would be? I think this kickstarter has great potential if done correctly.

I'd hesitate to guess for the moment. Thousands of pounds, at any rate.

That shouldn't be a problem if done correctly, if they guy who owned Maelstrom games and is universally despised in the hobby community can make 30£k+ kickstarter, then I see no problem with this ;D

Or just few extra parts in small quantities to fill the parts of the sprue where there's nothing ::)

I see five Standard tank cannon per sprue, and four hulls. Any chance of switching one out to a snub cannon? I'd definitely contribute regardless. You can never have too many 6mm AFVs.

I support the proposed campaign to support this continued support of our hobby.

Infantry’s a lower priority, imo. There are lots of 6mm infantry to choose from, but most of those game systems use tanks that look like they belong to the modern era. If we’re looking for anything with a cross of WWI and WWII proportions, there’s less to choose from. I will say I’m a little surprised to see enclosed mobile artillery, given that the open-air kind is harder to find in 6mm scale.

How about a guy popping his head out of the hatch?

I 2nd the wish to have a snub cannon available for the MBT.

I would back a kickstarter to get some of these tanks, one can never have too many tiny tanks

E&C how many sprues would you have to sell to recoup the money invested in such a project? Quite a lot i would imagine, is there enough of a customer base for this style of model?

I would consider investing in the project if you think it is viable.
