Hi

For my Steel Legion army (using either SL list or Minervan list) I have used the current GW SG Basilisk for my artillery company. I like the Armageddon style which is fully enclosed. I would like to try to extend this style to other units.

For Assault Gun Platoons I can use our Furry Mammal's Self propelled artillery (chassis, Arma enclosure). I would like to do similar for Griffon Battery upgrade.

So my question is for those of you who have both GW SG Griffon and also Furry Mammal's Self propelled artillery- would the Griffon mortar fit in the Arma Enclosure? If not can us think of another piece that would fit with the Arma Enclosure and also look like Mortar.

I don't think the Griffon Mortar will fit, but if you use the Spudd and Pestle from the aquamammal you can do this:



The Pestle needs to be cut off behind the boxy part, and the raised trim on the sides filed down, but it's a good fit overall.

I did this with mine http://www.taccmd.tacticalwargames.net/viewtopic.php?f=119&t=21003&start=15 . They were FW Medusas and the arma enclosure from the man we all know.
