I really don't care much, but given the goal of providing a complete starter kit, rather than an old fart nice to have extra, things that break armylists seem most important to fix. That, in my humble view, would mean heavies. Heavies provide variety and fill a game function too. They are more important than leaders because there are lots of them, one per base, presumably.

Gobblers would have been nice, but the metal stunt make them a political problem. I am sure that metal gobbler backers would relent given the right type of incentive though.

However, I am an old fart, and this attracting new player thing might, as some more cynical forumists have pointed out, be nothing but a dream.

I can say that enough of the pledges have come from non-Epic players to give us the impression it's worth a punt looking to attract new gamers rather than just cater to the abandoned SG community. :-)

Good news, I am very glad this seems to be the case! All the more important to stick to the starter-kit design, then.

A question on bonus sprues, does it apply to somebody who pledged multiple times for a total of £45 or £90, or only to single pledges of £45 and above?

We track it by person, not by individual pledge, so, yes. :-)

Nice!

Or maybe not. Now I'll have to find the money for another pledge :P How do you count postage, the £2 already included or the £3 for international?

I probably should ignore postage and make it so that people pay £45 or £90 ignoring postage, but I'm nice / foolish so I don't. Total spend is all the system cares about for the free sprues.
