I'd prefer Warhound proxies so 40mm is fine by me.

Just got home from work to find a small box with my 5 Stalkers in it.

The size is bigger than a standard plastic Paladin Knight (never had the metals), they definitely fill a 40mm base and the top of their carapace is about level with a Warlord titan's 'eyes'. I don't have a Warhound to compare to but I think they're probably a good match.

The bad news:

The tape on one end of my box was unstuck, and possibly along the route had come open as it sadly didn't include the heads or the bases. The bases I can live without as I can always dig up some spare 40mm bases, but without the heads I'm a bit stuck for now.

Are the heads attached to the arm sockets? That's where they were cast...

They are indeed, my fault for not recognising them as heads.

You're the second person who's asked me that!
I'm gonna start clipping them off before they're sent heh.

The pics on the kickstarter page are probably as good as anything i'd take – they look just like the promotional picture :)

Same on my box, front and one side were unstuck, but the contents fine. Maybe worth putting a strip of tape perpendicular to the join on the front, to avoid any disappointments?

Thanks, I'll get the next batch double taped in both directions. Perturbing as Riquende seems to have lost his bases.

Quick scale guide against what I have already:

Haven't decided on weapons yet, I'll probably wait until I can get hold of some more of the special weapons.

Actually, I thought it was brilliant that all the parts for a single stalker are together on one metal sprue. I even thought it was a bit strange the heads weren't attached as everything else was!

I think if my bases hadn't slipped out along the way I'd have looked a bit more closely, but it was too easy to see one thing missing and assume something else had gone too.

Maybe when you come to put them on the webstore have a diagram of the complete piece with some numbering to identify the parts, that could help (and save you a lot of clipping!)

I try to fit as much as possible on each mould, which means being efficient and compact in my sprue designs.
I'm still learning, but I think I'm getting better.

I'll do that, thanks for the suggestion.

From that pic I'd say they fall in the true scale knights if one was to compare with small and medium stompy robots if yesteryear, no?

Kinda kicking myself I didn't get a few of them.
