Yes, it should be possible no problem; do you think a smaller turret would look better?

I sort of like the double cannon, the idea was that it's used against air to air targets (while the prow cannon is for air to ground targets)..

I've got a feeling both the big guns (top and bottom) would be used for either ground targets (fortifications, Titans, etc) or larger air/space targets such as ships etc. Anti-aircraft weapons would be more in the form of small turrets (like the heavy bolters on a Thunderhawk).

By the way, the Stormbird is described to having cannons underneath the nose and wings. Whilst underslung wing cannons would be a bit too much (especially since you've got the missiles there already), how about some cannons that are integrated into the wing itself? You could perhaps bulk the craft up a bit, not that the Thunderhawk is described as being "more agile than a Stormbird", and considering that the Thunderhawk is a flying brick, what does that say about the Stormbird?

Well, I fear with another pair of guns it would end up looking too cluttered... I've always thought the agility bit referred to the fact that Thunderhawks are much smaller than Stormbirds :)

Hi Armand,

Thank you very much. I got my shapeways parcel today. Absulutly stunning stuff you made there.

You have this great looking chruiser add on pack. It would be great if you can build one for the evil side of live aswell. All this antennas and stuff breaks quite easy so it would be great to exchange. Or a different kind of bridge. Or a warpway or prow.

Cheers,

Ole

That's a ship I haven't heard of before!

So, it's a frigate with torpedoes, batteries and lances, right?

Right now the best fit for that armament would be the Tumultuous:

https://www.shapeways.com/model/1439830 ... erialId=61

But I reckon it's a bit "old style", and it might look better in an imperial fleet than a chaos one...

If you don't mind waiting, I'll try to convert a model more fit for chaos fleets, after I finish the stuff I'm working on right now!

I edited my post Because i found out that it is a infidel raider with Laser turret. You have already both in your shop so don't worry about it.

Hi there,

I'm still here! Unfortunately for the last few months I've had some problems with my eyes, so I had to limit my use of the pc...

But I'm better now, and I'm getting back to do some modelling! I've started with a smaller version of my transports (still with separate batteries), I don't know if you've sen them on the shop...

Woohoo, you're back, almost thought you had quit or something!

Really digging the ships, but I've seen them before, but they're smaller than the previous versions?

By the way, will you also be doing more Chaotic transports?
