Great work.
Definitely put it on Shapeways.

Holy crap, perfect timing! I just started work on mine for my sisters. Love to see that in the shop (try flogging it off on Spartan and see if they want to buy it off you too :) )

Thank you guys! Ok, I'll try tu put it up for sale tonight...

@ Jimmy - I would love to share it with the people on Spartan's forum, but I'm afraiid they wouldn't take kindly to an unlicensed conversion kit... But that's just speaking from the perspective of the beloved General Wares company we all love so dearly :D

You should be okay showing it off, there's a couple of people that've done entire alternate ships, fighters and such and they were fine with it.

Think the only time I've seen them get mad at people is when a guy recast some stuff and then posted about it. On their forum. With a pictorial guide on how he did it.

Thank you, I'll try then!

Perhaps I'll send them an e-mail first, to ask if they're ok with that, after all it's just a conversion kit that needs their model to be used...

Yeah when you deal with mantic, Spartan, infinity it's like breath of fresh air after the likes of grandma Wendy.
Also the chapter house studios verdict made it quite clear that "compatible with zyx" is legit :)

however I was referring to seeing if the company would be interested in picking up conversions designs from you themselves

That would be awesome, too!

I contacted Neil from the modelling department, I hope he answers soon!

The kit is available on shapeways now :)

In the meantime, here's a small WIP of a large transport I'm working on; it fits both standard batteries, and the battery-sized cargo pods that are already on my shapeways shop (and are pictured in some of the pictures).

Interesting. More military cargo ships always welcome.

Presumably would be relatively easy to do various prows for this?

Cheers

James

Awesome opening up the land ship! Can we get another option without the integrated weapon, just the bay to slot your own in? I'd love love love love to use my extra giant SWR burninator in there instead >:D >:D

Fantastic mass conveyor as well!

@ James - For the time being, I modelled it in a single piece including the prow, to give it a more omogeneous look; I can certainly make a version with a separate prow, the prow attachment point is as tall as the ones on my cruisers, and roughly twice as wide (to give it more bulk)!

@ Jimmy - Sure it will be possible! What size and shape is the peg for the weapon you would like to use? Also, what's a SWR burninator?

@ Malika - Thanks! Reply on the way :)

In other news, I've received confirmation that the Elite Corps Grand Barge is printable, so it's available on the store!

Also, I know this is a long shot, but I have a question for you guys: if anyone knows who is the creator of the custom tanks for the Dropsite Massacre game, could you please contact me via pm? I have a couple of technical questions to ask him....

SWR=Small Walking Robot. A proxy from the dark age of technology that makes a good proxy for a Warhound Titan, an item I am fortunate enough to of been at the right place at the right time to of collected long ago.
