I have beefed the tail already. Perhaps some detailing for the wings and the belly of the new VTOL. Then grappling hooks, like an eagles talon, to transport walkers and cars. Oh and missiles to fit the wings. Anything else you could think of? Will upload the gatlings tomorrow, unprinted though. Pack of 4? Including the pods or not?

Please note: I have NOT i repeat NOT printed the Gatlings for myself. I will print them as part of my design process for the VTOL above, but I haven't done YET. Print at your own risk.

You can find them here: https://www.shapeways.com/model/2606792 ... -vtol.html

Use Frosted Ultra Detail, the other materials sported some thinwalls at the shell output of the Gatling Gun. Nothing serious and one could definetly live with it, but I think FUD should do the trick.

I won't scuplt buggies, there are a ton of cool alternatives already (which reduces time I would else spend on 3D designing and costs for trial&error printing). Even Evil&Chaos seems to be doing some in his next Indigogo Project apparently. They look pretty nice:

Here the VTOLs on bases compared to other stuff:

Good point, I'd forgotten about the buggies!

Nice work on the VTOL. Looking forward to seeing a squadron painted up. The Catachans look great in the other thread.

Love the look of the Horned Marines (o:

The wing interchange system looks really interresting - have you built in a location notch? Btw, those would look Fantastic in a dioranam with the wings turned up, stowage style

I am going to send my 3d designs to Shapeways for printing too (Frosted Ultra Detail).

But, my question: how do you cast them afterwards?? what is your personal method? (if you have cast already).
