Fantastic!

How about some metal stretch goals for a while (some add-ons for the plastics, and some stand-alones) ?

Anything will work! You hit a goal and there nothing to fill that void! Don't let the Engine lose Steam!

You should plan on the next 2 or 3 Goals and list them on the website. Maybe 1 metal and then a spure change? idk.

Congrats on the Project so far!

Metal addons get my vote, not only will it be more shinies to buy, it might even make people decide they need another box to use the addons!

Great! Glad the first stretch has been reached :)

It'd be good to see a few stretch goals ahead, as Angel_of_Caliban says.

Exciting times :)

Congratulations on reaching £3500. A great achievement and still with a month to go.

Metal add-ons to the vehicles would be good. I think the majority of the perks should relate to the plastic sprues, as that is the focus of your crowdfunding campaign. Add ons feel more appropriate to this, rather than the stand alone kits (as fantastic as that Bomber may be!).

Improving the sprue by adding more poses, or heavy weapons would also be a good goal. 1 or 2 alternative poses will make the models themselves look better exponentially! Even something as 'simple'* as mirroring some of the models will immediately break up the uniformity. Add to that something like a lowered rifle on the humans, and a group of 5 is immediately broken up.

*It may not actually be simple, and may not be cheap, but if it's still in the computer design phase I'd imagine a flip to be achievable. But I don't really know much about sculpting/casting so could be way out.

Would a metal sprue with different poses work as a way to gauge people's reaction/interest?

Now that the upgrade sprue is consolidated, it could be interesting to add different models on it like one heavy weapon mini for 4 minis and 1 command mini for 10 standard minis ?

I don't know how many $£€ it would cost to add different minis tio the sprue but if I remember correctly, 20 years ago, Epic players bought more boxes with various sprues than boxes with all identical minis (Ork Horde Box Vs Ork Invasion box)

But to reach the "various poses mini" sprue , metal minis 'pre-order' will be surely needed (metal tanks and so on).

Problem is, the purchases of the boxes as they are are slowing down. I can't expect people to just keep buying the same box over and over again to upgrade the box.

So what I'll do is unlock metal stretch goals, and build in a little profit to each stage. So after we've unlocked a few metal stretch goals, the profit from those will have accrued enough that I'll be able to add an extra pose or sculpt to the sprue without needing a dedicated stretch goal. I'll run the numbers on it soon and work out exactly where that profit point will be.

£600 per sculpt.
Which means more like £900 in pre-orders of the box (now costs are paid off). Or a lot more in metal stretch goals.

How about keeping the plastic sprue 'as is' for bulk plastic similar pose models and then have a metal upgrade strip with 4 heavies and 1 leader (for example)

that way there are options available for people to have a variety of models but not having to pay the high cost of plastic sculpt scanning/whatever :)

So this would mean about 3600 GBP in pre-orders for 4 extra poses, this does not sound easily reachable.

Now that sprue with bases and sprue with minis are consolidated, it's the time for a load of metal stretch goals IMHO. At least if those preorders work fantastically well, extra funds could be injected in improving the plastic sprue. Else, buyers would be very happy to get some metal minis for their existing army.

What about some mini-tanks for the gobblers ? ;D

Have you thought on IndieGogo Campain exclusive minis ? I know some people do not like such exclusive thingie but this may help to get the money now ::)

This sounds like a good idea, then people could buy as many extras as they wish. Unless it is possible to do a mini sprue in plastic with the alternative models on?

Although I am going to get some of the sweet tanks, I would much rather see more infantry variations.

Matt

Yup that's my thought.

Ok, next stretch goal will include them. I'll unlock them at £4500.

Well there are the "Sculpt me a Leader!" exclusive stretch goals...

That'd cost us £2k instead of £600. :-)
