There are a number of sources for elite type generic troopers and basic human infantry (and many of their vehicles) but for troop/vehicle types that have no readily available proxies sales would probably be better. GW, besides endlessly producing re-vamps of their basic line, frequently releases new visually markedly different items like their new Mechanicum stuff, the Space Marine Centurions, the Wyvern vehicle, the new Guard Dracosan transport, the Taurox, the Dreadknight, etc. to keep up sales rather than - "oh, a new Rhino...I have 6 of the previous versions and so I will just stick with those...that new XXXXX though...I think I'll buy it." Just a thought about new Kickstarter additions...

One of the problems with these funders is that many people only participate at the very end so you have a prolonged period with steady but not always vast contributions and then a frenzy at the end if your lucky.

So you never can tell how you are going to do until the end really thus making it hard to decide on how big a range to open up. Obviously a bigger range of models should equate to bigger sales but not necessarily enough sales to cover the cost of all the model offered.

Um what to do it's a dilemma.

Anyway i'll be getting some elite specialists however they end up.

No more comments on the Elite Specialists?

Some alternative squad support and heavy support poses to, you have a nice weapon selection but if for example I wanted to use these for the heresy period and wanted to do a support flamer section then i only have one pose for the base. I suppose alternative poses could be added later or even in the next campaign.

I can add extra poses with the planned sprue layout I had, ala.

(6x of everything)

Elite specialists look very good to me, and fill a needed niche. Not personally interested in them given my existing collection but great to have them available for other players.

I note that there are screedloads of normal human sculpts available from various manufacturers, I'm actually surprised how well the desert humans in this KS have done!

Eloi seem like a major niche that is underserved at present. I'd like to see more focus upon some of the harder to proxy races like these.

How about this rejig of the Guncrab?

The guns are reversible so they can fit either side, and it could come with a blanking plate if you only wanted to fit a single gun on a single side.

Both designs have merit.

While I like the visual Appearance of the first Turret, is the second Version much more in Line with the Design of the Chassis. The Cockpit looks good. I imagine it to be filled with Liquid and to contain a Pilot hardwired into the Controls of the Machine.

So dumb question on the crowdfunding. How the heck do I select more than one perk? Or do I have to do a separate contribute for each one?

How about some proper load bearing feet on the guncrab, standing on tippy toe as it is means that it would sink into the ground under its own weight. I've had this issue with other walkers, GW/FW do several such big models balancing on knives for feet it just would not work.
