I think that would work well on the missiles :)

Thanks! Funnily enough I've used your same advice on the torpedo tubes of my frigate.

As for the tanks, more turret variants will be upcoming. I've been toying a bit with twin linked plasma cannons, but nothing to show for yet. Another thing I want to look into are sponson weapons, will either design them as separate bits that could be added to the tank, or make a hull variant.

Regarding the droids/drones, they are basically shrunk and pulled out of proportion version of my 28mm scrapbots but with added guns. Plan is to have 5 of these to form the 'standard infantry unit'. After that it would probably be some close combat variant and then some slightly bigger (a little bit bigger than heavy infantry) stuff. Might make some 6mm versions of the hounds as well...

Been updating the lascannon turret, added a variant of the missile launcher, and worked on a new turret variant.

Been working on some new weapon variants.

The 'plasma' or 'lightening' guns (not sure yet what they'll be) have received a bit of detailing. Next up is a new variant a slightly narrower turret with some sort of battle cannon (I guess a something akin to a Conqueror Cannon). Using that narrower turret I made a variation on the existing lascannon turret. And finally another variant of the big flamer. Dunno...just like the idea of more and more variants...

Thanks a lot!

I've bumped into a tiny problem with some of the new variants: opening the canopy whilst the turret is pointed forwards. The new lascannons and conqueror cannon were easily solved. Moved the canopy a bit forward and shortened the barrels slightly.

However, the two big flamer turrets are a bit problematic, will have to either find a solution for them or skip them altogether. The latter isn't such a bad thing considering I've already got a flamer turret.

Oh yeah, update on the conqueror cannon...

Good to know you are thinking about functionality on these vehicles.

Well, the hatch could open horizontally, like many tanks used to do :)

Hmm, might play with that, but it would mean I'd have to redesign the hatch...

In the meantime, droids!

I was about to suggest a form of gattling turret and hey presto!

Loving the look of these, and I love the turret variation's.

These are coming along nicely.

May I suggest you consider ammo feeds if we are thinking realism, how do the shells get into the various weapons.
