Will do, we're working it out now - what we're probably going to do is cut a half-sized sprue (so, the size of the E:A sprues), and then cast that twice as many times for everyone.

It works out cheap enough to afford in the short term, even if it's more expensive in the long term, our budget isn't big enough for the larger sprue unfortunately.

So Ben are you saying that you can do the ultimate sprue but only a cut down/smaller number of mini's version and then just have twice as many sprues per box to obtain the original stated quantity of miniatures per customer?

We've worked out it's within the budget to cut a smaller sprue with half the number of models, and then cast twice as many of them for each person. The tool will have a good tool life of at least ten thousand shots at minimum so number of shots is not as important. We can afford to put heavy troopers on there, but we're £1200 (more like £1500 really, I'm taking another personal hit to bridge the gap) short of being able to add the skinnerz leader & gobbler sculpts.

It was 5 weeks after the bat signal before we got the test casts on the bases, so I figure a similar delay.

Just got my churchillians and Lancastrians this morning. Very impressed and the Lancastrians are *huge*.

More importantly I got the bases too. I have a pile of nids that have been waiting for these for a couple of months. Keep your eyes peeled moredakka!
