I was going to update the crowdfunder today on that.
In essence our design consultants ignored our instructions to bring the mould back to the UK last time they were out in China, and instead paid (out of their own pocket) to have further tooling done on the mould to fix the one remaining problem (one of the two human missile troopers sometimes fails to cast correctly). We had told them we wanted to have that remedial work done in the UK. We are extremely annoyed about that, as even though they paid for the works themselves they were ignoring our direct instructions, and won't be using this consultancy company again because of it.
The Chinese tooling factory was supposed to have given us an update on the tooling yesterday, and haven't.
I've instructed the consultants, again, to bring the tool to the UK. They're sending a rep out to China in ~2 weeks, and I've told them to bring the mould home with them, or give us a refund, as the delays and ignored instructions have become unacceptable.
Hi!
This turned out to be a real nightmare for you.
Just do things in metal from now on, its not wroth the hassle to get plastic and deal with this kind of incompetence.
Besides, I like metal more.

Thanks for the update!
