At least that’s what the elvish empire of Tanith of the outre-mer will call this conflict. It’s the first time since the start of the Ninth Epoch that an elder empire has mustered an army to make war in the Old World, and they are not doing it in half measures. The main forces of Tanith and its various vassal states are yet to arrive but initial landings point to a major invasion against Orkish tribes in the Cár Súth. Hard to say what they’re up to, and though they’ve sent ambassadors to the human kingdoms and republics on the northern and western Seaboard, little is known about what they intend beyond the fact that many, MANY elvish ships have been seen moving past the light at Súthsãrow, the southernmost outpost of the merchant republics.
Something is brewing in the South!
All these are from Microworld Games by the way, their superb 3mm fantasy line. I’m super into them as you can tell - it’s rare for me to be so into a fantasy milieu, since I normally prefer science fiction. But the ability to field massive armies like this in such detail is not to be missed! Sorry all the photos are sideways. I don’t know why every goddamn website does this to phone photos. It makes zero freaking sense to me.
