Someone asked me earlier if I used 6mm or 1/285 scale tanks as superheavies in my 3mm scale projects, and the answer is yes. Yes I do.

So this is the beginning of a new 3mm scale project, a United Nations force called UNPROSUL. This isn't your Granddaddy's United Nations, and they're tired of taking your crap. To wit: a thousand-ton Oscar-class cybertank, and a rapidly expanding set of armor to go with it. Based are Caesarion tanks (one HQ tank and a combat platoon) and unbased are Thor MRLs, which are going to be scatter missile launchers for combat-range support, sort of like Battletech LRM Carriers. I have some heavy artillery, Cavalry vehicles, IFVs and infantry, and heavy aerospace support on the board but they're not done yet.

This is my first foray into white as a color scheme. It's always been one of those color choices that intimidated me, but I think this group is working out well so far.

Thanks, guys!

The labels came out well, I thought, and are easy to read. The white, by the way, is three colors: a light blue base, a blue-white middle tone, and a pure white highlight. The black stripes are pure black with a very dark grey highlight. I use Reaper paints, so that'd be "Snow Shadow" base (with a thinning agent to make it run into all the little details and make a nice blueish shadow), "Ghost White" midtone, and "Pure White" top, with The exposed weapons will all get gunmetal touches in "Shadowed Steel.
