Messing about with the Shroud class light cruiser got me to thinking, it'd be good if Necrons had a cruiser variant somewhere in between the shoud and harvest ship scale, so I had a go at building one. Basically, I stuck 2 shroud hulls together back to back, filed to allow a smooth fit, added the shroud wings in their usual configuration, and added a 3rd shroud wing as a new bridge section to its prow. The following stats are what I came up with: Same speed, turns and armour as the shroud, 2 turrets (instead of 1), 6 hits (instead of 4)no +1 to command tests bonus, same 10 dice of lightning arcs, plus 2 particle whips (none before). I reckoned about 185-195pts. I'll provide a photo when I can (though dont hold your breath folks, I'm a terrible photographer!). Thoughts, anyone?? |
