| Post subject: | Demiurg Tactics |
Hey everyone, I know we have a few Tau players who love the Demiurg here and even a player or two who fields all Demiurg fleets from time to time. Any case I am ordering some Demiurg ships and was thinking about a Stronghold backed up by a pair of Bastions. Does anyone have any special tactics they like to use for these beefy brawlers? The heavy weaponry they mount in the fore and sides, the prow armor, and the all around torpedos make them seem like they are well suited to being placed in the center of a formation of enemy ships and just unloading everything. They also seem like they are well suited to supporting one another. Say, send a Stronghold head on first, and two bastions trailing behind using their long range broadside lances to lend fire support untill the Stronghold breaks a hole in the enemy formation and they are able to exploit it. |
