Post subject:  "the chart" campaign game

Hopefully someone gets to see this post before my game TODAY.

I will be playing "the chart" mision (read it here). ?With a few modifications:
-Orks are the attacker
-Orks have a +1 Ld to navigate the chart.
-Orks can use a Warlord reroll on top of the free reroll to navigate the chart.
-Rokks and Hulks cn start the game immobile and hidden in the asteroid field and can activate at any moment.

vs Chaos Beakies that, on top of their army, have 5 transports and a "drop pod" (ordnance) loaded ship.

Since this is a campaign game, ?the important part of the game is to prevent chaos reinforcements to arrive to a planet (leaving the table).

The game will only be a 1000 pointer which is smaller than the 1500 I am used to.

What kind of army would you take?

First, ?I was thinking a ramship heavy army with lots of ramships going head on to the enemy.
But, ?the hidden rokk sounds too good to let go.
And, ?I am sure I will need carriers and ordnance.

For once, ?I think I am leaving my hulk out. ? It is too expensive for 1k plus too slow for this game.

So, ?any thoughts?

Hi. I would certainly leave the Hulk at home. Win or lose, it is not going to be much fun. I also wouldnt put too much faith in Ram Ships. I have bad experience with them. Occassionally they will win a game for you, but other times they can be frustrating and difficult to wield. I like the idea of large numbers of carriers, throwing out Fighta Bomberz.

Good luck.
