Well, since it seems that all of the short listed entries into the SG BFG character ship have been published, we now know who didnt make it (sob! sniff!).
In the interests of things not going to waste, I thought that it would be good to be able to see what people came up with.
A couple of rules:
- Please do not post stats, rules or any other text which was sent as an entry to the competition. I should remind you all that SG now own the copyright for these entries, and I hope that they will show them and make the best use out of the material that they have. A synopsis of the background is fine, as long as the text is different.
- Please do not post the same picture that you sent to SG with your entry. Take another picture (recognisably different, for example from a different angle) to post here if you wish.
In general, it is in the interest of all of us to allow SG the decision of what to put up, and that the material that they now have is new to the community. So, if a post here would make your entry as it was sent 'second hand' in some way, I must advise you not to post here.
All that remains is to give sincere congratulations to those selected for the short list. Well done.

right,
'ere we go! Here's the Magos Parsifal, an Adeptus Mechanicus Questor ship. She's used to deploy Explorator teams, and is commanded by Magos-Captain Ramax. She works alone, or in the company of Imperial ships of the Navy or Space Marine fleets. She's had her share of bouts with the Necrons and subsequently with the Orks, and her investigations of Xenos species are not entirely appreciated by the inquisition.

Well, I finally have the time to take some new pictures of my BFG vessel. Firstly, I must apologise for the quality of the painting. Even for me, this is a little rushed. The more observant of you will notice that it is painted 'Hollywood style' with only the sides which were originally facing the camera being painted. Go round the back, the it is still the basecoat of black that covers the vessel!  I actually didnt start painting this ship until the day of the deadline.
Anyway, I present to you, the Dark Eldar Battle Cruiser, the Pierced Soul of the Kabal of the Dulled Blade.

(My camera seems to have converted the purple, into a light blue!  Not sure what is going on there, but the vessel is actually painted in a mid-purple.)

That's a really nice vessel Cybershadow. Xisor's Tau vessel is also a fine thing.
