Just curious as to how many of us have actually got ships built for all the races that keep emerging.

I have my Aenari built
And I know the Tobari + Scythant have minis done

anyone else?

I've got ideas for most, but I'm on a few other projects now so the non-aligned races are on the back-burner modelwise.

eventually though, and I already have a pair of Fra'al battlecruisers

Another idea is to use models form other manufacturers as Games Workshop...

Not using them would be a better idea if we want anything put up for FOM(non-GW minis strike me as a bad idea there, but for WR, damn right we should!)

I have the bits and pieces lying about to make a couple of Tobari ships, and I'm confident I'd enough to attempt a Scythant ship or two too. Now all I need to do is order some System Ships/Defences monitors, some Heroes and Merchants, a Vengence and my conversion schedule will be complete...

Agreed, for FOM, no models of other manufacturers, except kitbashed/scratchbuild ones.
A picture + model is handy but not necessary in my opinion but it would be a great and valuable asset to the Khareshi Expanse Chronicles.
Maybe a technical drawing could do or even better, like it happens with UFO sightings eye witness drawings of alien ship. A scared merchantman draw an immense ship wich in fact is much smaller. Get the idea?

And yeah, for Warp Rift other manufacturers could do. I wonder what Ray thinks about this? Ray?

I need to finish 3 Scytanths painting + 3 Tobari. After that a small merchant fleet. Transports wich really look alike.

However first of all I need to repair the stem & base of my Desolator class Battleship... :angry:

After 3 trips to the PC doctor my computer is working again! So I'm back, for a little while! Also Merry Christmas (got me a complete Orc army for Fantasy from almost everyone i know :D, about 4000pts worth, that's alot of building!).

I doubt SG will go for any of these races! But WR will definately have them, even if they're not GW models. GZG (Full Thrust) and Mongoose (Call to Arms) are the only other  space games I have models for. Of course I have my stem ships! And ships made out of crisis suits (as Tau ships before they got a fleet, actually I made them on the 40K Tau launch date! :;):

As SG don't including these races? Not that suprising if you ask me. Pity, yes. But glad Warp Rift will publish this BFG with a twist.

What are stem ships? Base with stem and nothing? Odd.... ???

On other manufacturers, if a race finds a good looking model from lets say GZG and adds a picture of it to the WR submission, will this be printed? Ofcourse there needs to be an additional disclaimer, right?
Will lead to a nice disclaimer list if we make a PDF with all races in it. :D

Tau crisis spaceships? Pictures please! :)

Hi horizon,

Stem ships are ships made out of stems(6-30 odd) (I know it sounds crazy, but I think they look quite good!), i'll post pics latter, If I can find some, if not wait a while while a scan them! (including my old Tau ships)

I've got my computer back, so expect my usual ramblings! hazar!

The stem ship are weird, really alien....that's good!

The Stem ships came out of no where, i accidentily glued a few stems together and it got me thinking about the possibilities of making stem ships! They're really easy to make! Like a hard core version of lego! :D The black one was made by my brother (an Eldar player!)

I was using the stem ships to try out a fleet called Kamboross, unfortunatley i lost the authors name and article when my computer died way back.

The crisis suit ships are really old now, I've got more pics but I think they're somewhere else online, which would save space on the forum (do we have a set space?).

Indeed, easy to make and I have lots of stems lying around. Just buy a pack with flying bases and you know what I mean (guess so... :D  ).
