Hello all,
Let me introduce myself briefly: I'm the Rules Editor for WarpRift and a member of the BFG Rules Commitee (The HA!). I'm slightly anoyed at the infrequency of BFG articles in FOM and submissions to WR.
So to help encourage the expansion and evolution of the game I'm going to start posting Experimental House Rule Fleet Lists (EHRFL's) on this forum every so often. Some may be made into official ER's, or at 'least' 'published' in Fantic Online Magazine (FOM) or WarpRift (WR) when they're ready.
Cheers,
RayB

I'd like to push for immediate suggestion of my Kroot and Demiurg lists to be put out there. I believe you should(hopefully) now have them in your posession, I did submit them to Warp Rift after all.
FOM has had my Demiurg article for a while, but I doubt they'll use it, it treads too much on Studio's toes, but it'd be nice if they'd push it as 'The Inquisitor bit isn't official, but it's a nice article so have a look, otherwise try these ER/else BFG Rules'. Failing that, I'd be keen to see it go through WR.

Okay, thus you mean, just every fleet imaginable? Great!
So, the first batch must be ready for January for issue eleven. Issue 10 is packed with Kroot & Eldar I guess.?

Hi Xisor,
I had a look at the Demiurg article (the one with Inq rules?) The Butress was the only really new addition, and all that deserves to be published (for BFG).
SG won't publish it (unless you're really lucky) as they won't put anything from armada online (at least that's their plan!).
But a Demiurg Fleet 'list' with the Butress and an alternate cruiser (maybe even another BB) would be a worthy article in either WR or FOM.
I have an alternate Demiurg Cruiser (and Model, built and painted!), also a BB (a StrongHold with Lb's instead of Lances). Care to make a joint list to put on this forum (and then in either mag)?
Cheers,
RayB

Ray, maybe you could expand a little more on Warrant of Trade in here?
What do you mean by saying SG will not put Armada online. As far as I know (and I downloaded it:blues: ) except pages 1-10 the complete Armada set is available for download at the official SG site...

Xisor, I haven't seen your Kroot article! Could you send it to me please? Also I haven't recieved anything from Iain in a week or so, I hope it's not a problem at my end!
Blackhorizon, yep anything that deserves a fleet list! (Well some will be excluded as they are in the works via the studio, like Battle Fleet Mechanicus/Solar)
All, please post what fleets you want up here on this thread. Also feel free to comment and make suggestions on any rules/fleets that are posted on this forum (it should go without saying!)
Cheers,
RayB

blackhorizon, sorry, let me clarify my drivel: I meant won't 'republish' anything from armada (i.e. new versions of a fleet/ship from armada, it won't be updated! At least not until they get to a certain number left in stock or point in time).
Cheers,
RayB

Ah, okay, that makes sense (to me at least ).
Hmm, thus we have no influence on the Mars fleet?
Well, I would like to see everything possible. I did one on the alien scrap hunters for a starter.
Everything: Different sector fleets, Craftworld fleets, Orc clanz, Some specific SM fleets, everthing!
I think everybody should join. Every idea has merit as far fetched as they may seem.
cheers!

The Mars fleet (Mechanicus/Solar) will be released as official ER's in FOM in the distant future (I'm trying to get them released soon, after more playtesting and discusion takes place!)
Sneek peek: Double Nova Cannon!
Cheers,

Ray, whats your email address, I'll have Battlefleet Pech on it's way ASAP?
For the Demiurg, I'll definately go for combining effort into the list, but I feel what I put forth already is an acceptable base to 'print' and work from(that said, none of it directly 'updates' anything in Armada except for the recosting of the Bastion, which isn't compulsary[though appropriate IMO], please point that out to the HA next time you get the chance. I don't see why it's not a perfect article to 'reformat' to a PDF and slap into FOM). In it's current form, it's very little work on Fanatic's part to turn it into a very interesting article(which have been lacking lately IMO). And it deals with two systems.
However. This 'Battle Cruiser' and 'BB', get onto photobucket with your DigiCam and I'll set to work my 'interpretation' immediately.
Dual Nova Cannons you say. It's about bloody time.

Hi Ray. Sorry that I have not been in touch for a while, illness and work and other commitments have got in the way. It would be great to scare up as much BFG material as possible here, for SG, FOM and WR. Great idea.
I am still in a position where we simply dont have enough material for a new issue of Warp Rift, which is a shame. I would guess that we will need to skip and release the next issue just as soon as we have stuff to fill it.
Alien scrap hunters? Now that sounds interesting.

If possible, I'm tempted to tag that onto the end of the Xenos Article as a little something extra for many scenarios...
I really love the idea of fully automated Demiurg vessels going about 'resource collection duties' in the absence of their former masters, but not really know to be Demiurg. Or at least 'thought' to be Demiurg....who knows what they could be!?

Alien scrap hunters? Now that sounds interesting. | That's shame, I was really hoping to see the MMS this issue in 2005. It are 11 pages....
What should we write ASAP to make a new issue possible?
The alien scrap hunters are now WIP in another thread. Fluff needs be filled. Some special rules, not over top. 2 variant vessels, later maybe a third. And pics + building guide.
Ray, double Nova Cannon....bloody crap.... I hope the Mars Fleet will be the High-tech fleet of the Imperium.
Xisor, if you look under the WR section on this site there is a mail adress for the rules editor of WR. Mail it there and Ray will get it.
