Long long ago, when I barely knew the BFG rules, I made a jewel of a set of rules: An expanded DE fleet. Dropped some options here, added them there, and came out with this; 2 cruisers and 3 escorts. The normal cruiser, a more specialized cruiser, the normal escort, a more sneaky escort, and a 'heavy' escort, which is limited. I sent it to specialist games once, but never got an answer. Nice, those ships seem pretty good to me. Did you just restrict the weapons options for each one- ie did you just make a ship out of the points costs of the options, or did you actually do them your self? Like the stalker engines. hellebore |

Maybe you should drop them at Warp Rift. More likely to succeed. From what I heard SG doesn't like articles in wich core armies (points & such) are changed. There's another DE post in the forum. Maybe from there on (or another topic) we can finally work on a finished & balanced DE list. |

Hmm... I'm not entirely sure I know what you mean, but from what I can make of it: Yes, I tried to make the ships like that, as I didn't know the smotherman formula yet. The BFG ciosting sytem is a bit above me I'm afraid. Where things seemed more powerful, I did ofcourse add points. BH: I haven't really read through that thread, but I'll do now. I also might update the .doc file on my comp, so it'll be better-looking for warprift if I feel the need to. Frecus The glade wanderer Madwarrior |
