According to Andy Hall over at Specialist Games forum the updated BFG rulebook has been sent to the printers.

Old FAQ's will be incorporated, no big suprises and more news closer to the release date.

Really? This has come as a surprise. I thought that second edition was on ice indefinately! I guess that this is not really a new edition, rather a reprint with errata, but still good news! I will certainly be buying a copy.

Aye, very interesting news.

I was under the impression that SG no longer had sufficient funding to put out hardcopy rulebooks.

Added to the hints from on high that the decision to release Epic Chaos has only recently been taken, I wonder if SG have had their budget upped slightly.

Maybe they'll get more than 1 staff member at some point too!  :D

Wow! Then now i'll have to look for a well paid job. I would like to buy a Sons of the Emperor Epic army... with lots of noise marines!!  :D
