Hi! As you may or may not know, there is an ongoing development discussion over at the Specialist Games board for the resin Tau ships, the Commerce Protection Fleet (Kor'vattra Qath'fannor), which SG are working on turning into an official list. I feel that such a development deserves the kind of subforum that we have in the Epic section for the Tau, could CyberShadow or another mod create a Tau CPF subforum here for the fleet development? Hi. A nice idea. The discussion has reached proportions over on the SG site (I do check it out occassionally). Ray attempted to move it to the Port Maw boards: Tau CPF at Port Maw This being the case, I would be reluctant to create yet another thread on the subject, dilute the discussion and to have no-one knowing where to talk about this. I am open to persuasion about this, but I would not like to be seen to stepping over on a topic where there is already opportunity to discuss it, and that a thread exists on the boards of our BFG neighbours. All right, I'm asking the CPF guys over at the SG board if they would like to come over here, would you like to post there explaining - in more detail than I could - why GothiComms would be a worthy home for the Qath'fannor? Also, if enough of the CPF playtesters are interested, will you create the sub-forum then? Thanks for your time, I'd like to make sure the efforts you have put in making GothiComms come alive are rewarded by the hosting of the CPF development! Gary |

If there is interest, then I will create a Tau fleet development board. I will be making announcements at a couple of places around the web when things here are set up a little more. After thinking about this some more, I have decided to set up individual boards for each fleet. I hope that this proves useful. Right now, the three Eldar fleets are combined onto a single board. If/When traffic gets heavier, I will seperate these out and give the fleets their own space. Please let me know if I have missed any fleets. Thanks. |

I should point out that the Qath'fannor aren't merely house rules, they are an official in-development fleet, so this thread should really be in the Fleet Development section... Not that there's uch discussion here as of yet, at any rate - though we'll see what happens! Gary |
