Hi!

In the discussions going on relating to the forum PDF, I note that the Il'emaar (Courier) class transport, the Air Caste Orbital City and the resin Security Orbital are not included in discussions relating to the Qath'fannor.

Does this mean that everyone is happy with the proposed specs for these from the SG pdf?

Since the main CPF list is pretty much focussed on the fighting starships, please post any comments/ideas on the other units here.

Good call, Nerroth! I've just replied to Xisor in the SG forum that we need to nail down the Courier and defenses stats for the list.

As far as I'm concerned, the Courier as per the SG list is fine ( IE 20cm speed & 1WB @30cm F/L/R ). I recall that there was the suggestion of giving it a strength 1 missile rather than the railgun, but I really don't feel that a freighter would be carrying that kind of weaponry.

As for defenses, I think that when they were discussed ( ages ago! ) they were found to be inferior to what you could get using the modular defenses in Armada.

As I said in the SG thread, the Il'emaar should stick with the 1LFR Railgun, perhaps a Tau q-ship could have its cargo hold converted to carry enough missiles to protect a convoy at long range.

What would people like to see from the Orbital City and/or the resin Orbital?

And 100 posts! Yay! I'm now a Drop Trooper - a bit like my Kleistian Airborne Grenadiers...
