It is that time again. In preparation for the next issue of Warp Rift, I am looking for material. In particular, I require: - General articles (building a fleet - vessels and fleet list), tactics, anything of interest. - Cover picture. - Painting and converting articles. - Scenarios Any material extremely welcomed. On the scenario's, Ray should have 3 from me. They are a part of an 8 (or 9) part narrative campaign. But I made to many spelling mistakes and now he won't reply to me.  (Just kidding Ray, I know you're busy). Last month you received a couple of pictures from some people, nothing good from them? General article, I'll see if I can do something when I finnish my Charachter ship. |

Sigh.  I still have not received any submissions, and I have nothing for the front cover picture. I am discussing this with the sub-editors, and I think that we will need to go to an 'irregular' schedule, just releasing an issue whenever I have enough material. I guess that issue eleven is not in our immediate future. Sorry.

Speak to RayB on the topic of Battlefleet: Pech, I'm quite happy now to go into building it into a more stable article. The basis of it is okay so far, and I'd really like to see it go ahead further. Secondly, I have a massive bit on the Demiurg. I wouldn't mind putting forth a couple of bits. I'd be more than happy to submit the Buttress and Rampart class Commerce Vessels[Demiurg Escorts] with attendent fluff. I've already got them in a reasonable format, and they can be in 'on the desk' as soon as needed. Not only that, but you can also have my transcript-battle report come-story of 'The Battle for N'Dras'. Thirdly, anything coming from the Khareshi Expanse? I've built a couple of Tobari ships, though I've nothing painted yet. I'd be happy to work a bit more with folks on that to go for a fuller article. Lastly: The Commerce Protection Fleet. Both Shinnentai, Nerroth and myself should be happy to see it go in through Warp Rift. It's side-ways in format, but I don't think it'd be *too* difficult to do a horizontal Warp Rift...would it? In the same vein, I wouldn't mind doing so, and I'm also pretty sure Shinnentai and Nerroth would be too, putting out a few little 'designers note' discursive essays on the topic. Perhaps it'd also be handy to contact a few of the other forums on 'teh intrawebz' to disperse Warp Rift through? I know Warseer has a strong contingent of folks that like to frequent SG-style stuff, and it's not too difficult to see that places like Dakka Dakka, the Conclave and TauOnline to name a few would be willing to see it displayed. Well, the Conclave would probably take it under the guise of being an extra bit of fluff and story that helps 'solidify' the grounding for any Campaign set in the Tau Empire. Xisor |

Hi. And thanks for your post. Firstly, I think that Ray has a few submissions for the next issue. I dont have them yet, but I know that he has a list almost ready to send to me. That said, I would like anyone who has anything suitable to send it off to Ray, who will be able to co-ordinate and theme the articles. The CPF would be a great addition to the publication. To be honest, getting WR out there is not such a problem. I am fairly sure that a large percentage of BFG players are aware of its existance. For some reason, BFG players dont seem to be as open to submitting what they have to an unofficial publication. |

Ray has (3) scenarios from me, The other 6 I'm still working on. There are also alot 'alien' races available, Ray has the Tobari in finished form. |

Well, I do know that Ray has had a few problems getting to the internet recently, so there is a chance that he will send me a load of stuff and we can have an issue put together quicker than I originally thought... I still need a cover picture, though. |
