Well, this is going to be a long-term project. I'm not Otterman or E&C.

In anycase, I'm letting the ideas percolate in my brain. I'd love to see some more concept sketches if anybody has some of their own to post. I find it best to steal from as many different sources as possible.

Okay,
didn't know it was 'open-competition'. ;)

I'll give it a go. I mean, I can sketch... somewhat...

I'm currently making a Dark Eldar fleet from new plastic DE reaver jetbike and hellion kits. Hellion skyboards are a bit big for escorts but that is is small problem as they very cool looking. My first 4 Cruisers made from reaver kit are a bit small to be a cruisers so I think I'll be buying a new box of them and using the first models as light cruisers. New versions will have fantasy battle DE shields on them to make them look bigger...

At the moment few are allready painted and when I'm finished I'll put the images here for you to view them. I will also put them to the fleet category in the GC.

FWIW I made my Vessels of Pain out of the new hellion skyboards.

No update to be had, I haven't worked on this in a while.

I do agree that DE ships with lines similar to the new reaver jetbikes is a good idea, although whenever I get around to drawing them up in CAD, I will smoosh them a tad flatter that the jetbike models and make them a bit wider. It's hard to describe better what I mean, but basically I plan on playing around with the aspect ratios.

I also think the direction GW is headed indicates that bat-like sails are in, blade-like wings are out.
