Post subject:  Alternative manufactuerers?

I was just wondering if there are any alternative manufacturers for BFG which fit in size and price. :)

Id like to start an imperial fleet and was thinking of these:

Any of you know if they fit in size compared to the GW miniatures?

I am a huge fan of Full Thrust from GZG. The ships work very well, and I have a few Japanese vessels for use as Marine ships for BFG. The style of ship is different from GW, and mixing the two ranges in a single fleet will require some thought and planning. Also, the GZG ships are - on average - one size class smaller than BFG. So, a GZG Battleship would work well as a Grand Cruiser, or even a Cruiser. So, I would avoid the Escorts from GZG and start at the Light Cruisers.

As for other manufacturers, I am contractually obliged to link to:

Other ranges include Firestorm Armada and some Iron Wind vessels.

For a list of available ranges, you cant do much better than Starship Combat News:

Thanks for the links!

So a light cruiser from GZG would not fit in with a GW cruiser? For example this one:

But Bfg is a basegame only isnt it? So if I go all GZG it wouldnt really matter?

Those ninjaships look like great TAU vessels, ohh to many options. :)

I think that this ship would work as an Escort, but be to small for a Cruiser. Its true, that almost all space games are base directed, its just the size of the shp as a marker would be different. It would affect the game, but would just look a little out of place.

Also, if your entire fleet is GZG it becomes less of a problem, as all ships are in scale to each other.
