Hi. A while ago I mentioned some Impperial Battlecruisers I was working on.
Today I gave them a basic drybrush so hopefully it is possible to get an idea of what they'll look like.
I allways thought Battlecruisers should look a bit beefier compared to the standard cruisers of the line. Especially when you compare the Overlord to a Gothic. There's just something wrong.
Anyway I scratch built these ships using bitz and pieces from my bitz box. I chopped up a single cruiser for parts which resulted in these 3 ships + a pocket battleship.
On all these ships the prow has been widened a bit. the body is constructed from wood with plastic bits and Green stuff stuck on.
First up is the Mars (on the bottom pic I've includedd a Tyrant for size comparison)
Next is the Overlord (Unfortunately the prow ram broke just before I took the pic)
And finally the Armageddon. Since this ship is supposed to be based on the Lunar class cruiser, this is the ship I've used most parts from the standard cruiser on.
