I haven't played or got the rules for SM fleets and being blocked from accessing the official board makes life hard. This is quite a simple question anyway, SM Batllebarge, do they hold SM troops like the Strike Cruiser? Basically just wondering what the role of the SM Battlebarge is. |

You mean a SM boarding crew? Yes, all SM craft do, even the Escorts. The Battlebarge is the troop carrier proper of the fleet. Where the Strike Cruiser is the rapid response and deployment vessel, the Battlebarge carries the main SM forces (up to three Companies) for large scale invasions and insertions. |

Another biit of useless info: ![]() The Ultramarines maintain 5 Battlebarges and 10 Strike Cruisers. Most Marine fleets usually don't contain more than 3 BBs though. Cheers! ![]() |

Like I said, haven't got the rules and don't play, but as I have purchased a SM Battle Barge, thinking of collecting a few others. Can someone briefly describe what the role of the other ships are? Nova Class Frigates Hunter Class Destroyers Gladius Class Frigates |

They are essentially the Imperial Escorts with a Marine crew. That gives you a lighter gunship, and lance craft and a torpedo boat. |
