Right, as those of you who have read issue 16 of Incoming will now know, there will soon be a new mag devoted to Gothic. I, in a moment of lunacy, have been given the task of setting up battle reports for each issue.

So, I am looking for people to email me their battle reports.

If you have played recently, or have a report saved then please drop it to me at: wr.batreps@epic40k.co.uk

I cant promise to put every one in the mag, but it would be great to get a few for the next couple of issues, and to start issue 1 with a fantastic report.

The only thing is that the report must be new, and not posted here or elsewhere. I really want original stuff that people would not have read before as this makes the mag worth reading.

If you have a report, please email it to me in any (PC) format that you like (although Word, txt or rtf are best). You dont have to include a load of pictures, but obviously preference will go to the reports that have a few images of either the battle or maps of what happens.

I look forward to reading what you guys come up with. Every report will be credited in the magazine, obvously.

Thanks.

AFAIK anything that you have (including step by step conversion) and apinting guides would be top notch. Iain said so in the BFG yahoo list a while ago.

As a side note I am preparing a imperial vs Eldar battle report. I don't have a digital camera, or pics of the game :( since it was played as a simple game 10 days ago, but if somebody that has access to both fleets can make some fake pics of the engagement I think the article might look much better :D Do you think it is a good idea?

Regards,

Xavi

In general, if you write it, we will find somewhere to host it in the mag. For painting, this covers shots of your minis, articles on painting or converting and even stuff on terrain and planet building.

Xavi - the battle report sounds perfect, and just in time as I want the mag released next week! Thanks a lot. Fake pics are fine (I wont tell if you dont).

Wow! That puts a certain strain in my article then!  :o I have assembled the impressions of both players (there are some discrepancies over several moves and this is why I wantewd to check) and made a rough layout of what happened but I have not actually really started on the stoy. Well, will try.

My idea was to make it narrative, mainly from an Eldar POV explaining what happens from the tactical display of a Hemlock (that survived, BTW). If you need it by...saturday? I might be a little strained to do so, but I will try.

Health and a lot of sixes,

Xavi

Whenever you can get it done would be great. The last date that I can really accept for issue one is next Tuesday. But, after this, it could into issue two! Thanks.

Sorry man, essays and making applications to get finance for my further studies took over me. I don't know when I will be able to hand the report, but certainly not in time :( Will submit it when I am ready. The exact time is still uncertain now... OUCH!

Health and a lot of sixes,

Xavi

Hey cyber.

I've returned from the emptyness of space.  What things are still needed for the publications?  I now have broadband at home, so will now be able to get a lot more stuff sent off. Especially pics.

I know one of my friends really wants a game of gothic with his Necron fleet, so I'll see if I can get something organised.  I will use Eldar, as it seems fitting for the two ancient enemies to fight each other.  I'll then take pics of the game, and do a report.

Fantastic. Did you take a look at Warp Rift Issue One? Absolutely anything would be great for the next issue. For me, I am looking for a cover picture, and a battle report (or two). But the other guys are all looking for articles for their sections. Thanks.

right, I have organised a game.  Unfortunantly the earliest I can do is about April the 25thish.  But I'll try and get the report in as quick as poss.

We are going to do a little link game of BFG and 40k.  Not sure of the details yet, but I imagine we will play 100pts of BFG.

I'll only write up the BFG side of things, and I'll also tkae pics.  I've told my mate, and he'llwrite his own bits for his reasons on choosing his fleet etc.  That way it should work out quite well comparingour initial tactics to what really happened.

I'll be back with more details as soon as I know.  I'll also take some close up pics for you of some of the ships.

SH: Any battle report would be great. I think that a bit later would be great for issue three. I have a report for issue two, but if I knew that you were submitting one for issue three that would be one thing less to worry about. Thanks.
