I just wanted to find out a quick view of what people think about this combined magazine. Please let us know, and also check out the sister poll for Epic. Thanks.

I've voted on both polls.
I voted that its a good thing for epic, but that for BFG it wont really have much of an effect.
I think that BFG is doing okay already, and that there's not much more that could be done to increase the sales, other than having it appear in the WD more often.
Epic, on the other hand, needs every little bit of help it can. By me a lot of gamers aren't even aware its still going on. When I've turned up to the club with a couple of titans and vehicles, I have often had people asking about it, not knowing it existed (the majority are the younger gamers though).
The people willing to play BFG, I think will convert to epic once they see it. The people who play epic, mostly already play BFG.
Out of all the specialist range, I think that BFG will benefit the least. It already seems to be the most successful. Well, my opinions are based on the area by me anyway.

Yeah, I agree here- if anything things may be marginally better, as with the mag in colour there can be better painting & converting aticles etc... as SH says, it is already one of the more popular Fanatic games, and I don't see how this step could harm it much...

Well I have voted good for both, as the smaller magazines, however good they are for new rules, they did begin to suck. The last Epic mag was half full of rules that had been on the web for a month prior, and BFG Mag 16 was full of pics, but were not in colour! And the mailbag pages have gone! They were one of the first things I read in them!
So hopefully the combination of the smaller mags will benefit the quality and worthwileness of the articles presented. And with Jervis tripling the amount they pay for articles, this should filter out a bit more of the rubbish so we get better articles
Cheers
Chris

I think it'll be alright for BFG. The color printing is great, but otherwise it wouldn't be too much different. I like the idea though
