So what is going to be in it?  I know we have had some vague references in the past, but its now being advertised as a pre-release in Aus for $77 !!!!

Thats some serious cash (like half of the big new Imp Armour Book) so it must be significant ...  ???

AFAIK it is supposed to have all ships released for all fleets since the original rulebook. I'd think it also has some new rules; most likely those already published in WD and Warp Storm.

Nope, no new rules. There _may_ be reprints of experimental ordnance rules etc, but that's it. It's mostly ships n fluff.

With the high price, I am thinking along the lines of a big hardback thing, like Imperial Armour...who knows?

Either way, I'm getting one!

Cheers

..I think I'll be having a nose through it before I shell out my hard-earned cash, seeing as I have the Annual and a few Mags too...
Anyone know wether it will have any new artwork in? -The BlueBook stuff has been re-used so many times now its definitely time for something different... if of course Fanatic have enough cash... :L

As far as I know, it will be soft-back in the same style and size as the Blue Book. It will have fleet lists and basically contain every new ship which is official except for the ones in the rule book.

So as a BFG player from its first release and having all the annuals & supplments and most BFG mags, I wont be getting anything new then?

Guess I'll save my cash for EA!

Yes, I think I'll be having a good flick through before deciding whether to buy it.

Of coarse, I could just get my opponent who has recently started gothic to buy it!  }:)

I am having second thoughts now...I have most of the mags and the 2002 Annual, along with Warp Storm. Perhaps I should wait...

Are they going to be printing the Battlefleet Armageddon lists as well? If so, can I ask WHY?!?!?!! The Apocalypse is now OOP, the Endeavour was never in production, all that leaves is the Falchion, which most people would rather replace with the Sword. They may as well drop it from the book, even though one of the test pages in BFG mag was of the Apocalypse  :D

Cheers

Yeah Stormseer, I see it, but like you, no pic. I thought it had gone OOP, due to it not being on the main BFG list. I may have to get one before it does go OOP

Cheers

I never realized how much these ships cost! I could get a platoon of infantry + CHQ in 15mm scale for the price of one!!!  :O

..You don't need half as many for a decent game though- after the boxed set, one battleship, a couple of packs of cruisers and a couple of escort packs will give you a nice sized fleet for far less than an big Epic or 40k army will cost....
