im looking at revamping my BFG orks. i was largly unsuccessful with the 30 brutieship build, and i want something a lil more fitting for my badmoonz.

im wondering what is the best way to mitigate the low LD/ord. reload for a ord heavy list?

Take lots of Terror ships. Squadron them/some for better Ld. Take re-rolls. They're cheap.

so rerolls allow you to reroll failed orders? forgive me im fairly new to BFG.

Yep.

So if you fail reload you may spend 1 re-roll to try again.
Keep in mind you may re-roll a failed test only once.

Orks don't really bring the dakka. Not like the 40k ones anyway. I think they should really give Orks more WB firepower as well as turrets and revert the Ork Fighta Bommas rules to that of the regular fighter turret suppression rules. I don't think the reason of "Orks getting more attacks than the expert Eldar is nonsense" is a good enough reason for Ork FBs to have their weird turret suppression rule. Orks should be getting more attacks in because they are a swarm army (or navy in the BFG sense). Whether they manage to damage is another question. Eldar instead should be getting a re-roll on their attacks to show their expert-ness.

I have the makings of a Dark Eldar BFG fleet still sitting in their blisters.  Since I know you are building an Ork fleet, perhaps we'll need to take a break from Epic and get some BFG games in. May the best win.
