Hi!

That's a lot of Epic! I take it that's in the NetEpic system? Roughly what makes up a 1/2 million point force of Epic?

Tuffskull gave you the link to see the old article I did over a year ago (maybe close to two now), that list something around 420 K.

That comprises every army ever made for epic plus the slann/necron we made for netepic. Thats hundreds of stands (I have over 100 termagants for the tyranids alone!), hundreds of vehicles and over 100 titans of all sorts.

Hi!

Added more!!! Pete, if you read this, I would love to know what you have added, and what your current pts total is....

You could do an updated document like the one epic40k.com for Incoming? Just an idea.

Cheers

Chris

Oh, thats a prett long list Chris, here goes (what I can remember I need to do an inventory for the update alone!):

Picked up all the new tanks, artillery, static artillery, chimeras, salamanders from Forgeworld. Something like 15-20 each

A large order or eldar, chaos and even squats, it cost me about 700 dollars but there is over 2000 dollars retail in that deal, most in the original blisters.

Picked up about 5 old style gargants and an CI, pretty cheap too...

More beetlebacks, about 6-8, I am STILL trying to close a deal for about 40 more, but I'm being circumspect about it since I dont want the seller to suspect how much I want them, the current price is around 200 bucks for all of them.... :L

My current pride and joy is a deal for about 50-60k of IG,everything you can imagine is in it, hellbores, CI's, knights, tons of infantry and vehicles. I had to break this one into several orders since it will set me back around 2300 dollars, but that includes painting it all!! I'll be getting the first third of it soon and I dont expect to get it all until early summer 2004.

Points total, haven't even begun to tabulate all this. All I now for sure is the IG deal is around 50-60k, so officially I'm close to 500K, but add in the rest and I'm WAY over 500K.

Once I sort out the IG stuff, SM will be next, I'm still trying to locate the guy I once knew..... :;):

Hi!

I'm still waiting for the "your own body weight in Epic" competition to begin in earnest

A comrade of mine would be close even without dieting! (though he is rather meager)

I haven't forgotten the challenge. I'm going for it once I do a new inventory. I doubt I'll be close but I know I'm over 100 lbs. I'll be using a scale used in pathology for weighing specimens, it will be slow, but accurate!

Hi!

For the curious, I live in Puerto Rico, which is probably the worst place in the world for a gamer. All the old gaming stores are gone and no one plays anymore. I haven't played a single miniature game for about 2 years.

BUT, its great for buying old collections from people who dont care to play anymore. Most put a VERY low value on their stuff, so I get it real cheap.

To be honest, I'd rather have less deals and more play time, but you take what you can get...

Well, don't worry. As I promised I'll come there after I've retired and take with me all the stuff I've managed to scrape together before that. Than we can have a REALLY big game.
:p  :D

If I had that many chances to play - do you really think I'd spend so much time on here??

Nope, playing is a rare occurance for me too. I play other games almost weekly, but epic has died a death at my club - they're up for a revival in 2004 though - Yay!

..Epic gaming is also an extremely rare occurance for me.. more likely to be BFG or the HeroQuest (!) campaign I'm running now! ?:p

Heroquest!   :D

I haven't got a clue how much Epic I've got, just that's it is a *lot* less than 500,000 points. My biggest force is for Warhammer (WFB) :)
