| Post subject: | Sisters of Battle? |
I was reading through posts here, since I've finally started my fleet. I was reading a poll, and they have Sisters of Battle listed. I was curious, what exactly does a Sisters of Battle fleet have? I've JUST started an Imperial fleet (me and a friend bought a starter set each and traded the ships) and I was curious is SoB had their own fleet list? Just wondering

As far as I am aware the Sisters of Battle do not have their own fleet but they do ride around in the Imperial Navy ships. I think I read that on the GW BFG forums but I am not sure. I think one suggestion for anyone who did want to field a SoB fleet was to just paint Imperial Navy ships in SoB colours, though I realise that this is less than satisfying for those people who play SoB, I see it as an advantage because when I look at the Imperial Navy and the Space Marine fleets and compare I am always going to choose Imperial Navy over Space Marine. With the sole exception of the Adeptus Astartes, no Imperial force has its own organic space transport. This was a deliberate step in the post heresy reorganisation to reuce the spread pf future taints. The SoB were (obviously) formed well after this (in the Age of Apostacy), but would be bound by this strict edict in the Codex Imperialis |

There is a SoB Gothic list here: Sisters in Gothic It was put together by Nate and is a rough guide, but seems quite good. There are no official lists for the Sisters, but I am sure that there are more than a few fan-lists. Let me know what you think. |
