Hiya all!

Well, I am new around these boards, so first of all, I wanted to say hello! :) I am a player from Barcelona, Spain.

I have been playing fantasy (High Elves) for 12 years or so, but I am completely new to the 40k universe. I have started both a 40k and a BFG force there, and would like to get some feedback on them. :)

So here comes the list:

1500 BLACK PURIFICATORS SM CHAPTER WARFLEET

- Master Valorus: Master of the Fleet with 2 rerolls
- Gloria Imperialis: SM Battle Barge

- Fury & Purification Spear: SM strike cruiser squadron (2)
- Fidelity & Justice: SM strike cruiser squadron (2)

- 3 SM Hunter escorts
- 3 SM Hunter escorts
- 3 SM Nova escorts

That's all! :)

Total cost is 1,495 points. I have only played 2 games so far using regular Imperial forces (and with few ordinance since more or less they were trial games) so I am unsure if that will be a good force or if it has some serious weaknesses. Any suggestions will be appreciated! :)

Xavi,

Welcome to the list and we're happy to have you! We have a few Spanish-speaking members as well as at least one other member who is also living in Spain, Bob Deangelis, a really great guy and master BFG ship converter. I think most of our members speak the Mexican dialect of Spanish although I grew up with the Spanish one as well (de mi abuelo) the Mexican dialect.

Your list looks good although I'm not a BFG expert despite having played many games. My Ork fleet never did do well when opposing SM fleets so I'm relatively well assured that your fleet would demolish my Ork one in short order.

I think you'll like the community here. It's very friendly and welcoming and our "character" members are very interesting people. We rarely if ever see heated words or flame wars.
