Hi

being new to this sort of thing i was wondering where you buy your models from. I know that they are made by Games Workshop but i have been told that they are cheaper else where. Is this correct or are they pulling my leg.

Hi, Welcome to EpiComms :D Hope you stick around.
It depends where you live. I live in the UK so it is easier for me to buy the minis directly from GW mail order. I am afraid I havn't really looked for any cheaper sources but there is proberly a website somewhere that sells a tiny bit cheaper.
If you live outside of Europe it will proberly be faster to order from a supplier near where you are as Fanatic is notorious for taking ages to ship to outside Europe (although this is being corrected now as they are making a factory in the US).

In conclusion: GW is proberly cheapest but depending on where you live you might find some faster delivers.
