Hi,
Some wacko in the US decided to start a spam site called www.portmaw.com

Thanks to our friend Zhai Morenn we know Port Maw itself still exists:

I have not received an answer from a local admin at Port Maw.

Actually, further investigation makes me believe that the Port Maw team have not renewed their domain name. Looking at the records, it expired on 2nd Oct 2008. After this time, the company that was used takes the domain and uses it for advertising until either the domain is paid for, or a time limit expires and others can buy it.

Thats weird. Everything on PortMaw works apart from the home page... which is now desplaying Go-Daddy advertz. :oo:

I suspected that this was more than just a domain renewal issue as it is not 12 months after the previous problem. I wish them well, and let me know if they need anything from us.
