Hi,

The schedule for the Battlefleet Gothic Painting Competition has a start date of 1st May.

I assume that people are still interested in this running?

Do people have suggestions for prizes to be won? We need at least two. One for the painting contest winner and one for the Conversion Prize winner.

Now if we manage to receive a third prize donation then we can opt to introduce a third catogory this year: The Fleet Competition. Although the guidelines for this need be set first.

The other two categories will run the same as last year.

And yes, I will organize this years competition alongside Cybershadow.  :)

Yes i am interested in that competition !
For the prices, don't really know what could it be.
Maybe a ship (or something like this) for the painting contest winner and a bitz bag for the conversion winner :)

I'd take part in the conversion competition (surprise, surprise...) as well as the painting one - and if I have time, the fleet bit too.

I may not get time to enter, but I have 8 resin Voss-style prows you can have as a prize.

I think I'll have to participate this year.  Not sure what I'm going to do for the painting comp.  As for conversions... what if I've converted this ship like 2 years ago but never submitted it previously?  It doesn't have to be a conversion this year yah?  I'm certain half the folks here have seen it at one point or another.

All vessels you enter are automatically entered for both painting and conversion prizes.
So from all entries the judges pick the best conversion.

Thanks to Vanvlak the Conversion Prize is settled. Thanks a lot to him.

The offer from Napalm is a good start for a second prize, though it could need a little boost to gain the same level as the conversion prize.

Reaver: thanks, no pm..., but the prize is cool though I don't know if everyone would need/want it. I shall get back to you on this.

Been looking forward to this for a while!
Count me in for at least one entry (a converted model), and possibly another one.

As for prizes, what about the stores who donated prizes last year?  Although I imagine you've looked at this already...

Submitting an old picture is okay even though we always like to see new models?. (*cough* the Repulsive CG?.Zhai?)
