My aim here is to create what i think a Tau fleet should "feel" and also play like. As well as the history around them. This will be a long article and i don't recommend reading it unless you like details and fluff as a large story will be featured at the end of the list.

Commanders:
To be finished

Battleships:
May take a battleship for every 1,000 points;

Or'Es El'Leath: 320 points (CPF Fan based or FW)

Cruisers:
May take 1 Lar'shi'Tolku for every Lar'shi'vre taken. May take 1 Nao'Sak'Oraes for every Il'Porrui (Not M'yen config) taken.

 Lar'Shi'Vre: 180 points
 Lar'Shi'Tolku: 200 points
 Nao'Sak'Oraes: 140 points
 Il'Porrui'M'yen: 140 points
 Il'Porrui: 125 points

Escorts:

Kir'Shas'Vre: 50 points

Gunships:
May only field as many gunships (Kass'L and Kir'La) as there are free gravhooks in the fleet. Gunships are fielded in squadrons equal in size to their parent vessel, if the parent vessel is in a squadron with another grav hooked vessel they may be squadroned with its Gunships though they may not exceed squadron size of 6. Orcas and Wardens are fieldable only on certain vessels.

Kass'L: 25 points
Kir'La: 30 points

Orbitals
In scenarios where they are allowed, you may spend your points allocation for planetary defences on Security Orbitals, Orbital Cities, C&C Orbitals or Tau Way Stations. You may not use any other form of planetary defences. Additionally, your fleet may include Way Stations in any scenario where you are the defender, even if planetary defences are not normally permitted.

Security Orbital: 55 Points
Air Caste Orbital City: 170 Points
Tau Sentinel Stations: 60 points
C&C Oribtals: 160 points

Il'Porrui'M'Yen: 140 points
Code Sample:

Type/Hits  SPD  Turns Shields Armour Turrets
Cruiser/4  25cm  90*    2      5+/6+   2

Armament                 Range/SPD     Firepower/Str    Fire Arc
Prow Ion Cannons           30cm             2           Front/Left/Right
Prow Railgun Battery       45cm             4           Front
Port Grav Hook              -         1 Warden/Orca        -
Starboard Grav Hook         -         1 Warden/Orca        -

Ship Notes:
All Il'Porrui'M'Yen are fitted with deflectors to raise prow armour to 6+, this is disabled if the ship suffers a prow critical hit. All Il'Porrui'M'Yen also have tracking systems with a 15cm range.

Tau Sentinel Stations: 80 points
Code Sample:

Type/Hits  SPD  Turns Shields Armour Turrets
Defence/4  0cm    0      2      5+     3

Armament         Range/SPD     Firepower/Str       Fire Arc
Gravity Hooks       -          2 Warden/Orca          -
Railgun Battery     45cm            4              All round

Ship Notes:
All Tau Sentinel Stations have tracking stations that allow the Station and any ship within 20cm to ignore the shift right for weapons batteries fired at long range and re-roll misses when using turrets

List Notes:
Were possible all ships are to use the rules given by the tau CPF fleet list as oppossed to the FW or SG list. This accounts for the increase in cost to the Custodian and Hero.
The rules for Orbital C&C stations will follow.

What do people think of the list so far. Not really much in the way of changes besides a heavier reliance on Il'Porrui class and the actual adition of the Missile cruiser from the Nemesis booklet (previously didn't mention how it fit into fleet composition.
