Just wanted to say that I really like the MMS rules you've done. I keep trying to get poeple to let me use them, but there are a lot of tourney players around here, so I get stuck using the official rules a lot. Though I've not had a chance to playtest it, I am opinionated, so I did have some thoughts on the MMS rules. So here it goes : Void Stalker: -------------------- I like it. I wouldn't feel bad about getting close to an enemy cruiser, but still wouldn't go after an enemy battleship without some serious support. Super Nova: ( How do you build it? ) -------------------------------------- It has a nice feel to it, though I think I'd take 4 45cm lances over 5 30cm lances. Shadow and Eclipse: -------------------------------------- I like both of these, but again I'd like to see 45cm ranges on the direct fire weapons. Even with an increased point cost. For me, the Eldar should be great at mid range, but constantly trying to avoid a close range fight. Especially when it comes to our larger cruisers. Aurora and Solaris: -------------------------------------- These are perfect the way they are. I love Auroras and still want to get some Solaris cruisers to try. Hellebore: -------------------------------------- I've always thought of the Hellebore as a line frigate used to support the smaller escorts. I like the current config, but maybe change the torpedo option to include a +1 to Weapons Batteries and don't mod the point cost. This way you get a good support ship in the rear, or somewhat of a brawler up front. I don't know much about Craftworld Eldar, as I play only Corsairs. As my craftworld fleet. Weird I know, I just like the look of corsair ships. Anyhow, that was my two cents. Thanks for all the hard work on the MMS rules. I hope to see them in more common use one day. |

Hi Darquewing, thanks for your supportive feedback. I'll take all your comments aboard. I am specifically pleased to get some positive feedback on the Aurora & Solaris. There will be a MMS version 1.9 this year. Which I would call an almost done set of rules. There are light changes and I tested them a bit. thanks again! |
