I somewhat like the idea of humans more close to the star trek theme than the xenophobic imperials running around the 40k universe, although i don't know if it really fits with the 40k universe fluff, were every species seems to be competing as to be the "most nazi" race in the Universe (even the Tau!!!). The only ones which weren't that way were outright killed by GW (Squats, Zoats, Slann, Jokaero...). Anyway, how much would it cost to make a small Diasporec fleet? (i already have the RT armed merchant... actually half a dozen of them xD)

Hey Y.O.,

Yes me too, I think the Diasporex are somewhere between star trek and battlestar galactica (according to Graham McNeill), a refreshing departure from the totalitarian dystopia the Imperium has created for itself!  :;):
If you've read Fulgrim, you'll know how the Imperium will treat the Diasporex when they get hold of them, same as the Squats etc. However, I think there is a place for them in the 40k universe, even though they are likely to be an 'endangered species'!
As for building yourself a fleet, it shouldnt cost you much, especially if you have some of the RT escorts already. Just get yourself a couple of packs of chaos cruisers and convert 'em for the bulk of your fleet, plus an FSE battleship from Full thrust (?5), so maybe ?30 will get you a usable fleet.
