Lots of great submissions this year as well. Is it me, or does the standard of the painting increase a lot each year? This year's comp is going to be tough! :cool:

Ugh - well, better late than never.  Got mine in with 90 minutes to spare (and being late for work!).  I really wish I could take the close-up shots like other people are.  I tried bringing in directed lighting, flash, no flash, close up, cropping, everything I could think of.  Unfortunately I was left with the least blurry shot. :( It is time for a new camera.

CS, first of all a big thank you for organizing the BFGcomp - just in case it's not been said this time round. :)
Secondly - is this where we start badgering you about 'when does voting begin?'  :p
Third in line - statistics! - the quality of stuff entered in the comp has always been great, but is still on the rise - what about the numbers? Are there more entries than last year?

2005 was the first competition, so everyone had a lot of stuff lying around unused in competitions.

Why 2007 increased? Warp Rift got back? Who knows? CyberShadow?

Good point - I'd forgotten 2005 was the first one.
I propose we nominate BH as historian, analyst and statistician of BFG comp.  :D
This year's upsurge: Qualitywise, I guess if Tac Comms and the pics it carries is promoting and inspiring BFG (and other) stuff, then we can lay the blame for this motivation at CS' feet  :D  Perhaps the numbers are a similar result.
