Axtlinge- Escorts dont roll on catastrophic tables, or become hulks etc. When they are hit, they are destroyed and replaced with a blast marker only. Only multiple hit ships (cruisers etc) roll on tables. So you would only have had 2 crippled cruisers and a lot of blast markers in that area.
