i'm getting a bit fed up of the same old ships for BFG.
Does anyone know of any other mini's out there. I'd like something different from what GW do.

Check out Brigade games or GZG. ?Their line of starships would make some nice alternatives to the GW ones. ?
GW is alos releasing some privateer ships which may provide some nice alternatives.

I use a lot of Ground Zero stuff, including the ships. They are really good. Also, look at Kallistra, they do some decent vessels as well.

Agents of gaming are still selling off the mini's last i heard, last made an order acouple of months ago.
