A converted Dauntless light cruiser, the Studia Adama

This one doesn't seem to conform to any partular class. It's bigger than an edurance would be, but not quite as big as a Gothic would be...here is the Lux Machina:

I know I should have spaced out the entries for the heats, but I don't expect to get anywhere in the painting competition anyway I just want to show off my conversions

I feel that some simple conversions serve me.  A 'gunboat' conversion I favor.  I let carriers launch bombers, and have a heavier hitter in the battle line.  I was hoping to throw a few of my other entries inbetween other posts, but these two will do for now.

Another very simple conversion.  Most of my fleet was put together in 2000 & 2001.  The group I was in then was very fussy about even small conversions.  Fortunately some 'tweaks' of models appeared in White Dwarf.  This conversion made possible pure gun platforms, instead of mixed battleships.

My most frequent opponent is G.F. and he doesn't like to see me bring this into a game.  In a meeting engagement game this -popped- onto the table edge as a rude surprise.  It seems two or three cruisers can't handle this monster.

Argh! This one slipped through the net and missed posting it in the last lot!

My Tyranid entry. A scratch built Hive ship painted in the colour/pattern of my 40K Nid's. made from niddy parts, milliput, greenstuff and a reciept till roll. Posted some more pics on the other thread.

I like putting squadrons together with my Orks.  I can usually get one good leadership to 'hide' the poor leadership within a squadron.  Does nothing for reloading, but gives my opponents headaches, with that much firepower boring in!

Two more squadrons, about to make life hard for someone.

Here are my Strike Cruisers Argonaught and Astoria, like my Battlebarge, they are painted in Dark Angels colours. I hope this is legal in the GothiComp rules, it says "Light cruisers and equivilants can be posted in twos"

Here is my Gladius frigate squadron. I have named them all Firedrake, Altan Gulf, Implacable and Fearless. Like the rest of my Space Marine fleet, they are Dark Angels.

The Arclight communications light cruiser, Lucem Sequimur, of Battlefleet Carcharodon.
