Discouraging? Maybe, but also inspiring. Last competition I entered a ship (I was late, only 90% finished), with no hopes of winning. And I stil got tied second in the heat to my suprise.

So, now I've entered a 100% finished ship and hope to win (OVERCONFIDENCE????) :p

Oh I agree it can have either and or both effects on people.  :)

I hope it has more of the inspiring impact though. That leads to more photos for me to look at and more things to see!

It's big shiny and deals ship cracking damage at 90cm.  

A ship thats feared and admired, This ship will make most players cringe as it is put on a game table.  

When creating a uber ship this is the water mark to beat so.

Galatea, I think you relate to the entries (IN PK versions)?

And, soon, very soon, I'm gonna destroy a Chaos Planet Killer. My opponent has one, still untried.

Galatea, I think you relate to the entries (IN PK versions)?


Yes - we havbe about two Planetkillers and one Anti-Planetkiller if I'm right.
Knowing that there ARE only about 10 entries PKs seem a bit overrepresented.

Some watermark. I've seen ship designs that people thought were not being uber nor being compared to the PK and those designs could be a lot worse than the PK.

Think about Freud, some people need the Big Guns for compensating :;): myself I'm currently designing an anti-Fleet weapon too :laugh: but till this one's ready I'll take the experimental Nova Ammo....... :cool:

Good entry Vanvlak, I like it, one question, how did you manage to balance it on the base. The base is waaaaaaaaaaaaay at the back compared to the model.

Daemons are very light, see, and they're held captive in the forward part of the ship, so they buoy it up.  :O


Ok, ok, I'll come clean - the rear half is metal, the front 2/3 almost all hollow plastic tubing.  :p

And thanks - your big Eldar beastie is, as posted above, a real beaut.
