Hello all,
My chaos forces have been battleling a lot against the imperial armada lately. The result is that my opponent is getting really upset losing ship after ship. He has even tried 5-7 nova cannons in 1500 point games (the arch-commented so-called cheesy combo). Results are still massacres for my side. As you can guess, the fun factor for ALL the players is getting pretty low after a while of identical results...
So, for the sakes of improving the fun factor I thought I should be asking how to win against a fairly standard chaos list with imperials. There are 3 chaos players around, but the lists are pretty similar. They usually are something like:
- 1 GC - hades - Murder/Carnage - Slaughter (sometimes with khorne or slaanesh CSM crew) - 2 devastations - Lance and torpedo escorts to fill the rest of the points
Quite straightforward list style if you ask me. Still, he has quite a few problems beating any of the chaos players. Specially me, since I have been playing for a longer time, but the differences in performance are NOT normal. Or they shouldn't be.
In our opinion there are some serious balance issues with the imperial navy but the difference should not be that big.
So, could I ask the imperial players around here for advice? The chaos fleet simply outshoots, outmanoeuvres and out-assaults the IN. Advise from fellow admirals?
Thank you all in advance
Health and sixes,
Xavi
