I'm having a bit of difficulty checking the official forum and playtester vault (blocked) Can someone tell me how many stands of Eldar Aspect Warriors are in a Troupe. I'm wanting to start painting my Eldar, so want to know how to plan things. Also is one Troupe made of of all the same Aspect Warriors or can you mix and match? |

From Swordwind, 8, and they can be any combination that you like |

Got here second, can only confirm. And add a question of my own: I own a few Harlequin stands, and I like these guys. In Swordwind, I thought these could be used as Aspect Warriors, either Scorpions or Banshees - any thoughts? ![]() EDIT ooh! ooh! - I can be useful - yes Lextar, you can mix all types. All but the Hawks and Spears can be transported in Falcons (65pts each) or Wave Serpents (50pts each) or a mix of both, as long as there's room on board for everyone. An exarch or two can be added at 25 points each; and one of these can be an Autarch character at 75 points (instead of 25pts, not added) (i.e. you can take 1 Exarch, 2 Exarchs, 1 Autarch, or 1 Autarch and 1 Exarch; or none of these) |

Just a few more questions. So a Troupe has 8 stands, is that 8 or upto 8 (as in taking 4 stands) How many stands per Falcon and Wave Serpent? And these are optional right? If you mix the Aspects, does that mean they have to stay in formation? Or is there an alternative way to field Aspect Warriors other than using a Troupe? Sorry if these are all answered elsewhere, but I can't wait till the book comes out and the attempts of getting fibre optics installed at my house resulted in the engineer drilling into the gas pipe ![]() |

8 stands, not up to 8. They stick together, so you have to select your flavours carefully. 1 per Falcon or 2 per WSerpent, so that's 8 Falcons, or 4 Serpents, or a mix, as long as all are transported. No alternative. And that one wasn't one of ours. The engineer, I mean. Must've been a feral ork. |

Right, Firstly it's the aspect warhost, and it seem that you can take aspects no other way ![]() A falcon can take 1 stand, a wave serpent 2, and you have to take EXACT troop numbers (ie no extra transport spaces) You don't have to take transports. I'm not entirely sure but I would imagine that they do have to stay in formation ![]() |

Darn, oh well. I'm back to the plan to try and field 8 stands of fire-dragons ![]() And I'm short on 15 of these, as they didn't have any firedragons on the new sprues?!?!? |

Well the Swordwind part I file has images for each of the different aspect types (which are now up to ![]() I must say that the Aspect warhost is rather weird, though. One could field a warhost composed of one stand each of the 8 different types. This would result in having to remember 8 different stat lines for ONE formation... ![]() |

Yes, but realistically you wont usually have more than three or four aspects in a troupe, and most of the time two should do it. Most aspects are paired with another type, such as Scorpions and Banshees. Still, it is a bit strange that they are not simply bought as support cards. |
