Consider the Thunderhawk stats. Thunderhawk 80 points Firepower 8 Range 30cm Gunnery 4 Intercept 1 Armour 6+ Transport (6) Would this translate in following stats for an Ork Landa (keeping in mind that Epic 3rd edition needs to be very abstract and no added special rules...)? Landa 80 points Firepower 4 Range 30cm Gunnery 4 Intercept 1 Armour 6+ Transport (10) Landa Transport Capacity = 10 Slots 1 Slot: Infantry Unit 2 Slots: Buggy, Bikeboyz, Big Gunz or Dreadnought 4 Slots: Battlewagon, Flakwagon or Speedsta 6 Slots: Stompa I'd like to hear your feedback. |

I don't know about the slots part. I think 10 is a good size for infantry, but not sure about the vehicles. I know the models are kind of abstract sometimes, but I prefer them to all be close to scale, and I don't think the Landa is that big, especially for a Stompa. Although, something to drop off three Stompas would be cool. But then, if you are going to do that, just drop off a Gargant. Maybe make two different Landas? One for the boyz and the other for da big stuff? |

The slots part (from the Thunderhawk) is official. It was an article in White Dwarf. So I tried to adjust it to Ork vehicles in comparisson to Rhino's, Land Raiders and walkers... Thunderhawk Transport Capacity = 6 Slots 1 Slot: Infantry Unit, Dreadnought, Support Weapon 2 Slots: Disassembled* Rhino, Predator, Whirlwind or Vindicator 3 Slots: Disassembled* Land Raider 4 Slots: Rhino, Whirlwind, Predator or Vindicator Slung Beneath Hull 6 Slots: Land Raider Slung Beneath Hull * Disassembled vehicles must give up all of their first movement phase. They may move in the assault phase. |

Don't really like this idea of disassembled vehicles i think it's a bit silly to think that a vehicle such as a landraider could be dismantled into small enough pieces to transport in the same space taken by two infantry units. Then can be put back together again in record time during a battle. IMHO anyway. Hey though that's just me. |

The slung underneath rules I find appealing. For the Ork Landa I'll stick to infantry and walkers as cargo. Battelwagons and Stompas should walk. |

Slung under is acceptable to me also, big units need a bigger dropship or heavy lander really. We need to create some stats for such a design i think. |
